When a member dies, call the contracted funeral home of your choice to make arrangements. PMA contracts with 15 funeral providers operated by eight different funeral entities.

As of June 12, 2007, the following Alderwoods funeral homes no longer contract with People's Memorial Association:  Acacia, Seattle; Evergreen, Everett; Price-Helton, Auburn; Snoqualmie Valley, North Bend, Powers, Puyallup; Mills & Mills, Tumwater, Jerns, Bellingham; Jones & Jones, Wenatchee; Waterville, Waterville; Shaw & Sons, Yakima; Merritt, Wapato.  As of March 20, 2006, the following funeral homes no longer have a contract with People's Memorial Association:  Bleitz, Seattle; Miller-Woodlawn, Bremerton; Purdy & Walters with Cassidy, Everett; Purdy & Kerr with Dawson, Monroe; Weller, Arlington; and Piper-Morley-Mellinger, Tacoma.   The PMAdvantage of no sales pressure, no non-sense pricing and independent third-party consumer advocacy cannot be guaranteed to members who choose to use these facilities.
